P.J. Komen Export B.V. was founded in 1918 by the father of the present owners. In those days, the main products were irises, tulips and gladiolus. Over the years more and more items were added to our assortment, such as amaryllis, lilium, hyacinths and narcissus.
Today's expansion has led to the ownership of two bulb farms and growing contracts with many growers in the area.These farms are situated on the excellent sandy soil of Anna Paulowna, which among others contributes to the outstanding quality of our bulbs.
Together with the surrounding communities this area is the largest united bulb producing area in the world.
