Novel Biomarkers Catalyst Labs (NBCL) is focused on the development and commercialization of novel biomarker assays which will become tomorrow's tools in clinical management. Due to extensive experience and network within the IVD industry, NBCL is able to get novel biomarker assays to the market quickly after a licensing agreement with research institutes and organizations have been established.
Besides novel biomarker assays which may become novel diagnostic products, NBCL is also working on new point of care diagnostic assays for veterinary practices. The first products under development are quantitative point of care tests for acute phase proteins and pregnancy related disorders in companion animals.
The first novel biomarker assays are available: Total sLHCGR, LH-sLHCGR and hCG-sLHCGR. These products are to be used for the quantification of soluble LH/hCG receptor (sLHCGR), which is the common receptor for both hormones hCG and LH.
